Immersive has sales and support offices all over the world with their headquarters, engineering and manufacturing all based right here in Perth, Australia.
Our Manufacturing Facility in Malaga, where this opportunity is based, has recently been set up in a new location with a brand-new office and tailored functional layout to suit our specific operational needs. We utilize the latest state of the art in-house manufacturing machinery and storage systems.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Production Planner will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the supply chain are synchronized and scheduled for optimum performance across our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor/Liaise with customers in regard to demand/sales and allocate manufacturing and new development build slots for each product line, for overall optimized customer satisfaction and manufacturing efficiency
- Parts and Services are released for ordering with sufficient time to receive them for a product build slot
- Various Components/Modules are scheduled for picking of parts and manufacturing to ensure they are ready on time for final product integration
- Determine most effective strategies of in-house vs outsource manufacture for optimized manufacturing throughput for current capacity
- Creation and maintenance of build routes/processes for new product lines
- Maintain/Report on various states of goods (Finished, Work in Progress, Shipped)
- Regular review on status of various build stages and adjustment for optimizing where appropriate
Additionally, you will be required to:
- Assist with company annual stock takes.
- Highlight material shortages to the Purchasing team.
- Assist with any stock/manufacturing process discrepancies
- Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and functions within the manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge and working experience in MRP/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics currently being used).
- High organisational skills, with good accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong experience in use of Microsoft Excel
