Teacher Assistant

**The Role**
- Term-time position only
- Hours by mutual agreement
- $30-$34 per hour

Seeking qualified and experienced Teacher Assistants for the commencement of the 2023 school year.

Our Teacher Assistants are integral to our school, providing vital assistance to Teachers in supporting student learning and development.

To be considered for this role you must:

- Hold qualifications in school based education support (or working towards)
- Be able to work with a variety of students under general supervision
- Have proven ability to communicate effectively and display a high level of interpersonal skills
- Have an awareness of duty of care of children with the capacity to make appropriate judgments to ensure student safety and welfare
- Have basic ICT competencies conducive to supporting students learning
- First Aid Certificate qualifications including CPR (or the ability to obtain)
- Hold qualifications in relevant Child Studies (desirable), and
- Be willing to work within our School's Christian ethos, demonstrate a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and actively demonstrate a commitment to child safety and wellbeing

- Be authorised to work in Australia;
- Have a current criminal history check (dated within 3 months of issue)
- Undertake mandatory child safety training
- Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
