Are you an Accredited Exercise Physiologist passionate about improving both physical and mental health? Head to Health Lismore is looking for their very first EP to join their team working out of Southern Cross University. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of clients with mental health conditions and work closely with our clinical teams to ensure coordinated care. Your focus will be on enhancing overall well-being through tailored exercise programs that support their therapeutic interventions.

What You’ll Do:
- Create and deliver tailored exercise plans that promote physical and mental well-being, complementing clients' therapy and counselling
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 clients, tracking their progress, adjusting sustainable exercise programs to foster cardio, strength fitness, and long-term health improvements and celebrate their successes.
- Provide education and support to clients and carers, helping them manage health conditions and develop sustainable care plans.
- Maintain accurate client records and update care plans to reflect ongoing progress, ensuring interventions focus on both lasting improvement and enjoyment for clients with mental health challenges.
About you:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in a community or sub-acute setting, with ESSA accreditation.
- Proven skills in developing and delivering exercise programs, care plans, and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and a passion for supporting diverse and underrepresented communities.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and understanding of mental health policies and legislation.
