**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Warumilang currently has an exciting position available for someone wanting to pursue a career in the IT industry.
- As the successful applicant, you will:

- Be employed by AFL SportsReady, as part of our Warumilang program.
- Work on-site with University of New England
- Study for an accredited qualification: Certificate III in Information Technology

The position is part of the Technology and Digital Services directorate that provides IT support to the various branches within the University of New England staff, students and affiliates. The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team to support and contribute to the university’s overall responsibilities and objectives, while completing a Information Technology Certificate III ICT30120

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Develop the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user-issues related to software
2. Provide support to the IT Team as required
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and focus on customer satisfaction
4. Assist staff & students with Windows 10 and Office 365 enquiries
5. Participate in new development testing and assist with maintenance of systems and reimaging
6. Complete any required tasks and or modules for Information Technology Certificate III ICT30120

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

1. Be willing to undertake a 12-month Certificate III in IT on a fulltime basis
2. Good interpersonal skills including a strong focus on client and quality customer services
3. Good verbal and written communication skills including being able to liaise with people from a broad range of backgrounds
4. Be IT savvy (technically minded) with some exposure to software and systems
5. Proven ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, analytical thinking and be part of a team in the administration of project activities and milestones.
6. Willing to complete units and modules to successfully complete the Information Technology Certificate III ICT30120

**SALARY**

$24,000 - $35,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
