Clinical Coding Manager-Full time

Calvary Public Hospital Bruce, ACT

Full Time Permanent Position

**Salary**: $136,737 (Plus Super)

About the role

A unique opportunity exists for a motivated experienced Clinical Coding Manager located in the A.C.T to work within a team of dedicated and experienced coders with a focus on learning and development.

Applicants will be required to have Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management (or equivalent), or completion of a recognised clinical coding course (HIMAA) and demonstrated extensive coding experience and competency. An evaluation of the applicant’s skills in this area may be undertaken.

What you bring

Proven clinical coding leadership experience and ability to undertake management activities, including undertaking quality activities and auditing with a sound knowledge of audit processes/tools.

Demonstrated knowledge and a working knowledge of Activity Based Funding (ABF) and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI).

Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and conducting education and training programs within a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated proficiency in time management and organisational skills with ability to meet predetermined targets and deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private information.
