**THE ROLE**:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Accounts team. You will bring your expertise in the Payroll sphere to provide an efficient, full function end-to-end weekly payroll for 400+ employees, across our Office, Café and Manufacturing teams. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in responding to key Payroll activities across our national operations. You’re detail orientated focus, analytical skills and high level of organisation and accuracy will ensure success in the position.

Reporting directly to the Accounts and Finance Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Processing of daily timesheets.
- Responsible for processing weekly end to end payroll, using online electronic platform.
- Reconciliation and Reporting on payroll related tasks. Ie: Super, Payroll Tax, CSA, Workcover
- Processing both internal and external administration matters, queries and ad hoc reports
- Identify and report on continuous improvement initiatives across all payroll services.
- Assist with employee payroll related enquiries and queries.
- Assist the Accounts team with general account duties (AR, AP, credit control).

**WHAT WE'RE SEEKING**:

- Demonstrated previous high-volume payroll experience in a similar company size/environment - a must.
- An extensive understanding of payroll functions, superannuation and taxation.
- **Contact and previous experience with Employment Hero platform will be highly regarded.**:

- Exceptional communication skills - in both verbal and written forms.
- Demonstrate effective Time Management skills, able to meet deadlines while working under pressure.
- Outstanding administration skills - including a good working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Convey a positive, can-do attitude while meeting the core values of the team - accuracy, precision, compassion and assisting the Accounts Team.
- Current driver’s licence and own reliable transport - a must.
