Depending upon the level of experience below are some of the duties that we are looking for managers to fill.

Personnel/Human Resources
- Rostering staff and supervision of staff; strategically delegating specific jobs to staff in accordance with their individual strengths and weaknesses
- make recommendations to senior management on staff including training requirements and staffing levels
- decides in consultation with senior management on the engagement,termination and promotion of non-managerial staff
- trains non-managerial staff
- supervision of other managerial employees,including discipline,analysis of training needs,allocation of duties,performance appraisal
- organises training,evaluates training materials for employees
- determines suitability of training courses and/or methods
- consults senior management requiring an accurate knowledge of industrial awards
- creating new job descriptions and liaising these with the Financial Advisor
- Undertakes professional development specialising in management styles and developing workplace culture and ideas generation
- Performs induction for all new employees, covering safety drills, major and minor incident procedures, fire safety drill, completing registers, first aid kit, staff amenities and anything else required by senior management

Bar Operations
- Building loyalty between patrons and the club
- supervision of stock control and stocktaking
- establishes stock control levels,checks accuracy of stocktaking,evaluates suppliers,negotiates pricing and/or terms
- calculates costs and/or value of stock and sales
- checks and supervises quality of services,hygiene and safety arrangements
- sets quality standards for facilities,service,etc
- checks equipment and facilities for maintenance,replacement and upgrading
- places supply orders
- collects statistics;analyses income;reads and understands computer system and user materials
- investigates financial irregularities
- Responsibility for supervision of activities of bar staff
- Supervision of liquor purchasing
- Supervision of security of bar areas
- Responsibility for security of cash takings
- General control of effective and economical staff rostering
- Analysis and interpretation of bar trading results
- Responsibility for hygiene in bar areas
- Responsibility for standard of liquor service
- Implementation of Responsible Service of Alcohol practices and procedures

Poker machine/gaming and wagering operations
- Responsibility for supervision of activities of poker machine staff
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of models and their operations
- Arranging for maintenance and repairs
- Prevention of frauds
- Responsibility for supervision of cash takings procedures
- Analysis and interpretation of trading results
- Responsibility for all other forms of gaming within the club,including but not limited to TAB facilities and Keno
- Implementation of practice and procedures for the Responsible Conduct of Gaming
- Organising, sourcing, and implementing setup of club promotions and marketing e.g.: KENO + TAB

Premises operations
- responsibility for security for all stocks and monies in the club
- responsibility for security and safety of premises
- warden in charge of the Club in an emergency. Knowing procedures to bring the Club back online after a blackout
- first Aid officer for club
- key contact liaising with Law enforcement during walkthroughs and ensuring compliance with relevant RSA and RCG requirements.
- liaising and running security team and security roster
- liaising with Financial Controller
- liaising with tradespeople, technicians, entertainment and back of house systems
- update procedures and protocols, which are implemented by all staff in the daily running of the club
- plan and implement improved work procedures
- Manage the facility’s day-to-day operations, including policy execution, employee management, and building and equipment upkeep
