We are currently in search for a Training Coordinator - South East Region (SER). This position will be on a 12-month fixed term and hiring point is Kurri Kurri Technical Centre NSW.
- Operating on a 5/2 Monday to Friday roster, the role of a Training Coordinator is to assist with the management and coordination of Orica learning governance and processes which enable Field Operations AusPac to meet their training and assessment obligations.
- You will be specifically responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Orica training governance and processes across the SER field operations business, which includes NSW, VIC, TAS, some sites in SA, and NZ. Your responsibilities will include tasks and activities associated with our RTO obligations, the upkeep of our Learning Management System (LMS), the delivery and facilitation of face to face/classroom based training, as well as working closely with the Field operations in-field trainer and assessor network to assist and guide them to understand, embed and execute Orica Field operations training and assessment. These responsibilities may include some level of travel or site visits from time to time.**What you will be doing**
- Contribute to the management of Orica Australia’s obligations as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) - Ensuring training is completed in line with National Standards.
- Assist with the management of the Orica Learning management System (LMS), including assisting with record entries.
- Ensure training profiles are in place (in your region of responsibility) and that the profiles are accurate for the job roles. Plan, offer and deliver new
- er induction courses to meet field operations hiring demand.
- Run, collate, and communicate training compliance reports as required.
- Check compliance of assessments for issue of statement of attainments (where applicable).
- Assist with the facilitation/delivery of Supervisory level training program/s.
- Assist field operations field trainers to ensure critical competency requirements are compliant.
- Contribute to the achievement of Training Team objectives.
- Participate in personal development learning when and where applicable.

**What you will bring**
- Safety will be your number one priority, Always;
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE), with 2 years minimum in a training related role.
- An energetic, engaging & positive personality with clear verbal and written communication;
- An understanding of Vocational Education and Training accreditation requirements (advantageous);
- The ability to deliver pre-developed instructor-led training as per the training facilitation guide;
- Knowledge of explosives manufacture, delivery and on bench procedures;
- Personnel management skills, including task prioritisation, goal setting and short to medium planning abilities;
- Technical/operational Orica Field Operations background.
- Learning Management Systems or equivalent experience preferred but will be taught.
