**About the Role**
As a **Senior Communications Manager**, you will be instrumental in shaping and
executing effective communication strategies during a critical period of change. This
role demands a creative approach to crafting engaging and innovative
communication plans that resonate with various audiences and drive change
adoption. You will oversee the development of communication plans, driving change
awareness across the Commission in relation to the DART program.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring the creation and execution of communication plans that align with
strategic program objectives and support change initiatives across the
Commission
- Providing leadership in developing program-specific, tailored messaging,
ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the overall change strategy
- Leading efforts to increase awareness and understanding of program changes
by utilizing creative, modern communication approaches to reach diverse
internal audiences effectively
- Identifying and implementing a variety of communication platforms and tools
to deliver engaging, impactful content, moving beyond traditional methods to
enhance audience engagement
- Engaging with key stakeholders to gather feedback and adapt
communication strategies, ensuring stakeholder needs are addressed and
incorporated into the communication framework.
- Providing strategic guidance and foster partnerships with internal
communication teams and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging,
alignment with the Commission’s goals, and consistent program delivery.

**Desirable Qualifications / Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related
discipline
- Solid experience in developing and executing communication strategies within
a change management environment
- Proven track record of delivering successful communication initiatives through
various channels
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build
support for large-scale changes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in leading teams and working
collaboratively across departments to ensure cohesive messaging.
**Eligibility**
All NDIS Commission personnel are required to meet employment suitability
requirements prior to, and throughout their employment.

- have or be willing to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting security clearance.
