**The Role**

The **Project Support **Officer** position provides support for planning, coordination and execution of project activities within MCPSPO. The Project Support Officer has responsibility for day-to-day stakeholder management and project administration.

**To be successful in this role, you will be able to**:

- Provide project planning/coordination support to ensure that tasks and activities are carried out efficiently and delivered on time to meet client requirements.
- Asist with workforce planning in support of current projects and/or assigned proposal capture activities.
- Schedule and coordinate project specific meetings to enable delivery of tasks in a timely manner.
- Undertake research and/or analysis on project specific topics as directed by Manager and/or other team members and prepare high standard summary/finding reports.
- Develop and present project status reports using MCPSPO specific tools and templates.
- Act with a degree of autonomy and personal accountability for team outcomes
- Customer and stakeholder engagement
- Assist with the development of internal work instructions to meet team needs and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic and innovative.
- Assist the wider IWP team by providing high level day-to-day administrative support.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**:

- **Current Baseline or NV1 (mandatory)**
- ** Australian Citizenship (mandatory)**
- Prior experience within CASG/ASD/ADF or Defence.
- Project Management/Project Coordination or professional consulting experience
- Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project;
- Baseline (or higher security) clearance.
- ITAR clearance.
