**About the role**

The Rehabilitation Specialist provides provision of medical services in accordance with Local Health Network policy and governance arrangements and in accordance with the Professional Documents of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (R.A.C.P)

The Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist will function as part of a multidisciplinary team with both the Service and other health professionals to provide these services. The Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist will be involved with teaching, research and administration

**Educational/Vocational Qualifications**
- Specialist medical qualification in the relevant speciality, Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians i.e. FAFRM (RACP),
- Demonstrated participation in continuing medical education since attaining qualification

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
