Job summary

Home grown meats has been providing quality meats goods and products to Weston creek, Canberra for over 9 and a half years. We are looking for a Butcher to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities and duties

The responsibilities of the position include:

- Preparing meat for sale by removing bones, trimming fat, cutting, mincing and griding meat to shape and size the meats for display or as ordered.
- Preparing crumbed cuts of meat and marinating
- Advising customers on the suitability of cuts of meat
- Operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderize meat
- Operating sausage filling machine

Qualification and experience

**Skills**:

- Have excellent time management, organisation and communication skills.
- Works well in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Weston, ACT 2611: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
