**THE ROLE**

This is a permanent full time role typically working Monday to Friday and would suit someone who has worked in a factory and tool room environment.

Reporting to the Production/Factory Manager, you will be responsible for a brand new tool room with brand new machinery.

You should be self-motivated with good written and verbal communications skills.

Your role will be extremely varied and will include building press tools, machinery maintenance, attending machinery break downs, repairing worn or broken tooling, new jigs, etc.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Experienced in all areas of tool making including press tools, machine maintenance, tool maintenance and servicing factory equipment and machinery.
- Some welding is required (mig, tig or arc) predominately of mild steel.
- Manufacture of jigs, fixtures, gauges and other factory equipment.
- Knowledge in the design of press and form tooling.
- Hydraulic, pneumatic experience is essential.
- Experience working with roll formers would be beneficial.
- Electrical experience would be advantageous.
- Experience with machine guarding would be beneficial.
- A current fork hoist license would be advantageous but not a necessity
