Inner West Kids Marrickville is a modern, purpose built centre. The owner/operators Andrew and Caroline are part of the team and are on-site every day. The service provides a high quality education which is fun for children and supportive of families. With a capacity of 35 children a day, our hours of operation are 7.30am - 5.30pm.

We are looking for a fun, motivated educator to be part of our team

Your role as educator would include:

- Working with children aged 2 to 5 years.
- Planning, organising and implementing activities that support the children at Inner West Kids to develop and grow their social, emotional, fine and gross motor skills.
- Working as a member of a cooperative team to implement a nurturing and educational program for all children at the preschool.
- Ensuing that the policies and philosophy of Inner West Kids, Children’s Services Regulations 2011 and the Code of Ethics are implemented in providing appropriate care and educational programs for the children.
- Be willing to participate in meetings, conferences and training courses where appropriate.

Qualifications you will need:

- A Certificate III, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or working towards.
- Experience as an early childhood educator is preferred.
- Working Knowledge of the Children’s Services Regulations 2011.
- Working Knowledge of the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education.
- Current Education and Care First Aid Training, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Knowledge and understanding of Childcare Policies and Procedures.
- Be knowledgeable about the philosophical underpinning of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- A Current Working With Children Check and Child Protection Qualifications.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
