We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and results driven Civil Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive Energy team, providing meaningful solutions within the renewable energy sector on a major Wind Farm project. This fixed-term full-time position on a 10/4 DiDo roster is located in the South-West of Warwick, QLD, where you will have the opportunity to work amongst a team of professional and passionate colleagues. - Job Description

**The Role**:
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in construction projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Follow guidance and direction provided by the site Construction Manager
- Provide day to day management of field based workers
- Assign daily duties to work crews
- Ensure daily goals are being achieved
- Assist with solving constructability issues
- Maintain and check stock levels of site materials
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Ensure HSEQ compliance of work crews
- Provide progress reporting to Construction Manager as required
- Ensure work activities keep in alignment with MTA safe work practices and policies
- Facilitate Prestart meetings and Take 5’s as required
- Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, Australian Standards, SWMS, Take 5’s and quality requirements
- Ensure resources are appropriately trained, competent and authorised.
- Ensure resources are effectively and efficiently utilised.
- Engage with the Project Plant Supervisor to forward plan plant and equipment needs and provide feedback on any issues/defects
- Provide instruction/guidance to field staff within your area of expertise

**You**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor

- Extensive knowledge of plant and equipment operating methods
- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Ability to proactively identify issues/risks and identify suitable solutions.
