**The Position**

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Experienced in handling a wide range of financial, administrative and support related tasks. Must be well organized, flexible and able to work independently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient operation of the finance function.
- Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions and liaising with suppliers where required
- Processing of Payroll requirements on a weekly/fortnightly basis
- Bank reconciliation, Quarterly BAS, Superannuation and End of Month/Quarter Reporting
- Preparing customer invoices and monthly statements
- Processing of new assets and liaising with suppliers where required
- Point person for office supplies, maintenance, mailing, banking
- Handling customer enquiries both online and via the telephone
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and priorities work to meet required deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new software programs quickly

To be successful in this role, you must meet the criteria listed below:

- Degree qualified in accounting or similar
- Xero Experience
- Prior experience doing accounts for multiple site venues.
- Working experience in trade/service-based industry
- High level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good understanding of an internal control environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Above all - a passion for their work and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rowville, VIC 3178: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
- Administration: 3 years (preferred)
- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- Xero: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
