An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Marketing Executive to join this leading company in Asian food products, located in Sydney West. This position will report to the Brand /Marketing Manager, and be responsible for providing day-to-day marketing support to the Sales & Marketing team.

**Position Profile**:

- Support Sales and Marketing team on a daily basis.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager/Brand Manager in the development and implementation of end-to-end marketing campaigns
- Assist in the production of advertising, marketing brochures, or other promotional materials.
- Coordinate marketing/ promotional events eg. Food shows, festivals, media announcements, product demonstrations, etc.
- Reporting of the company’s sales performance through the use of appropriate marketing reports.
- Database and website development and maintenance.

**Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:
Marketing and Promotions
- Work with the Sales & Marketing team and contribute new product launch ideas and implement marketing concepts.
- Identify advertising opportunities and in-store promotion opportunities. Participate in or conduct promotional exhibitions if the opportunity presents itself or when required.
- Support the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials.
- Assist in the production of advertising, marketing brochures, or other promotional materials.
- Liaise with printers for advertising artwork design to ensure all deadlines are met and work with administrators to ensure prices remain competitive.
- Liaise with relevant parties on marketing and promotional events and activities.
- Coordinate marketing/ promotional events eg. Food shows, festivals, media announcements, product demonstrations, etc.
- Monitoring all campaigns, evaluating outcomes and making recommendations
- Manage media and supplier relationship
- Manage Events assistants to execute ongoing promotions, which include: timesheets, training, management, coordination
- Manage the end-to-end process of competitions, lucky draws, and communication with suppliers on expectations and artwork.

Marketing Research
- Conduct market research and report on current market trends, new products, and industry trends;
- Conduct competitor analysis and report on competitor activities;
- Conduct consumer analysis; identify consumer (end users) and customers’ (retails and food services) needs and recommend appropriate product ranges to achieve profitable growth;
- Design questionnaires and conduct marketing surveys to better understand consumers’ buying preferences, their perception of products, etc.;
- Visit stores for best/worst seller meetings.

Website management
- Maintain the company’s website and ensure all content is up to date.
- Database development and maintenance.

Sales Reporting
- Reporting of the company’s sales performance through the use of appropriate marketing reports.

Customer Service
- Assistance with the handling of telephone inquiries related to the company’s products and services.

General Administration
- Perform clerical and administrative support duties for the department including filing, maintenance of records and files, and other duties as required by your Manager.
- Be the contact for most print and cable marketing eg. Newspapers, magazines, TVBJ

**Skills Required**:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Chinese speaking skills beneficial
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivation, driven and proactive
- A team player
- Exposure to the food industry is desirable

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
