In order to achieve this, we encourage our students to 'Raise the BARRS' by meeting our school expectations of Being an Active Learner, Being Respectful, Being Responsible and Being Safe.Children are given every opportunity to develop their skills across all learning areas and as a result many of our students have achieved strong results academically, in sport and also in The Arts.
We provide the students with a variety of extra-curricular activities including the Ipswich Readers' Cup, band, choir, interschool sports and the opportunity to participate in Australian schools' competitions.
The school has fully implemented the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework to a drive positive school culture. Students are explicitly taught strategies to improve resilience and learn how to "Be an active learner, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe.
**The successful applicant will**:
- Have the skills to deliver The Arts curriculum across all primary year levels.
- Demonstrate a passion to inspire students in The Arts in dance, media arts and drama for 2024.
- Must be able to manage and organise a large student portfolio of student evidence and be confident at reporting and moderation processes.
- Must have proficient behaviour management strategies in a PBL culture
- Promote The Arts in the Blair State School community.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
