Trade Assistant

Our client is well renowned for offering a range of high-quality products and services to the Australian irrigation and mining industries.

Based in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs, an opportunity is currently available for an experienced Trades Assistant to join their well-established Manufacturing Team.

Duties include
- the assembly of pre-manufactured parts as per engineering drawings
- Use of Pneumatic and conventional mechanical workshop tools
- Dressing of galvanised parts prior to assembly (using angle grinders, die grinders and tap and die sets)
- Use of assorted tooling including drill press and polishing machines

**Key Requirements for the Role**
- Previous experience in a machine tool assembly environment
- Previous Experience in a manufacturing workshop environment including operation of workshop tools
- Driving Licence and reliable transport
- Hardworking, reliable, presentable and punctual
- Pass a physical assessment
- Pass a DRUG AND ALCOHOL test

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chermside, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
