**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Partner Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with community, industry and government, locally and internationally to enhance the employability of UNSW graduates. They will work in collaboration with staff across the University including Faculties and Divisions and with external partners.

**Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience in a relevant field or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of best practice in partner engagement and employability, nationally and internationally, in the higher education context.
- Demonstrated experience and success in: o developing and managing employer partnerships with community, government and industry organisations that generate mutual value for students, partners and UNSW to enhance student employability;
- prioritising workloads in a complex multi-stakeholder environment, working independently and proactively, and meeting deadlines with attention to detail;
- Developing marketing collateral, brand strategy, and communications channels and content to achieve effective partner engagement.
- Ability to function effectively and independently with the capacity to take responsibility, exercise independent judgment and proactively address and resolve complex problems as they arise, and to negotiate and agree outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience using evidence-based practices and/or data and developing innovative solutions.
- Superior interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective collaborative professional relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning and managing and controlling budgets and resources and an understanding of financial management procedures.
