We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to join our team. Working closely with the WA Contract Manager and SA Asset Manager, you will be supporting the WA Schools public-private partnership (PPP) contract.

Being responsible for developing an asset management plan and ensuring Compliance. This position is critical in ensuring the delivery of the asset management plan inclusive of condition monitoring, lifecycle and planned preventative activities in line with contractual requirements and industry best practice.

**What you’ll do**

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Deliver asset management services and projects within client expectations (e.g., time, quality, cost).
- Ensure all works are completed and fed back into the business within the KPI and contract timeframes.
- Ensure compliance and timely completion of Preventative Maintenance Works.
- Rectify defects as per the defects list.
- Coordinate the appointment of subcontractors and run competitive procurement or tender processes.
- Contribute to internal and client reporting including preparation of progress and operations reports, minutes, agendas, and presentations at monthly client meetings.
- Ensure contractual KPIs and Minimum Performance Standards in relation to the development of feasibility studies and project delivery are achieved.
- Undertake regular scheduled inspections of the site, for grounds, maintenance and cleaning, including WH&S and EPA Risk Identification to ensure a safe working/learning environment for all concerned.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experienced in the management and delivery of FM projects and building works.
- Experience in the planning and development of annual budgets and programs
- Experience in development and implementation of Asset Maintenance Plans across multiple sites and varied asset types.
- Experience in design and project implementation in an educational facility environment.
- Well-developed computer literacy skills, experience and understanding of asset management / scheduling systems.
- Broad experience in the building / service industry with knowledge of building and service regulations and statutory obligations
