- Casual work available at Sydney Region Campuses ( Loftus, Gymea, St George, Randwick, Enmore, Petersham, Ultimo, Ryde, Meadowbank, Northern Beaches, Hornsby )
- Casual rate $34.04 p/h
- Minimum 3-hour shifts offered between the hours of 6am to 10pm, Monday through to Saturday depending on the required work

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced **General Assistants in Toolstores and Hospitality** to join our casual pool to provide ad hoc, urgent relief work for teaching sections. You may be asked to work at a variety of Sydney metro campus locations at short notice. Because of this requirement, you must be flexible, able to travel and have good availability.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The General Assistants for Hospitality and Toolstores are responsible for providing safe, efficient, and hygienic hospitality services, maintaining outstanding presentation and high quality customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs and contribute to daily operational needs of the relevant TAFE NSW learning sites. Some manual handling may be involved.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Your Day to Day**
- You enjoy carrying out a wide range of duties supporting different learning environments
- Supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience.
- Preparing and issuing of tools, equipment and materials required by students and staff to facilitate safe and effective supply of learning materials.
- General administration work to contribute to daily operational needs

**Experience/Skills required**:

- Hospitality experience in a commercial environment OR
- Experience within a specific trade section or related work area (eg Carpentry, Plumbing)
- Previous experience in receipt, issue and maintenance of trade tools and equipment
- Previous experience in store layout, procedures and maintenance of store records including stock control (For Toolstores)
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
