**The Role**

As an Analyst Programmer, you will be responsible for the investigation, analysis, estimation, design, software development (excluding SAP configuration), testing, and documentation of new programs and functions according to our development standards. You will also maintain existing programs and functions as directed by the SAP Application Manager and SAP Functional Consultants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce and document standard routines and procedures for ongoing programming productivity and development.
- Assist and direct other members of the BTS Team to resolve SAP ABAP programming issues and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to set standards.
- Supervise contract programming resources as needed.
- Establish and maintain clear, accurate, and precise programming standards and procedures in SAP S4 ABAP space.
- Provide and maintain programs, functions, and documentation to Rheem Australia’s standards in a professional, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Undertake the development of allocated projects, ensuring design, software development, testing, and documentation meet agreed standards.
- Create generalized routines and reusable code to improve development productivity.
- Ensure ease of future upgrades is considered paramount before commencing new development work.
- Supervise ABAP tasks with contract programmers and perform peer reviews to maintain coding standards.
- Assess new software package releases and features from a programming perspective.
- Troubleshoot and support functional teams on critical issue resolutions.
- Trouble shoot custom programs and develop workflows as business needs.
- Provide support with functional team on developing functional specifications and develop technical specifications for the projects.

**About you**

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- High degree of programming expertise, including structured programming techniques.
- Extensive programming experience.
- Well-proven analysis, investigative, and estimation skills.
- Extensive and appropriate SAP technical knowledge, including SAP fundamentals, SAP data structures, ABAP, SAP development tools, SAP Fiori apps, workflows, forms, and skills in other development environments.
- Good communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, and SmartForms.
- Screen Painter, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI.
- S4 HANA Fiori app maintenance and enhancement.
