Curtain Workroom Manager

Australian Workforce is a leading national recruitment company. We are looking for **Curtain Workroom Manager** in **Banksmeadow New South Wales** to start Immediately.

Working hours**:Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm**

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Take ownership of the hiring process for the workroom staff, including curtain makers, seamstresses, and other relevant roles.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Define clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to establish and optimize workflow processes.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient supplies are available for smooth operations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
- Coordinate with other departments, to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Provide regular reports to upper management on workroom performance, team development, and any challenges faced.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to fabrication problems

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Proven leadership experience in the curtain industry, with a focus on team management and development.
- Strong knowledge of curtain construction techniques, fabrics, and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in using workroom tools and machinery.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry software and computer skills are a plus.
