Do you have a passion for helping others? Then come join the team at genU We are looking for an **Advanced Practitioner** to support people living with complex and/or high behaviour support needs to be actively involved in the community
The role will operate within genU’s Community Participation division, which was established to facilitate innovative, client-centred programs with a focus on building skills which assist in working toward individuals’ goals.
As an **Advanced Practitioner** you will work within a variety of teams as well as independently to support clients with complex behavioural needs. This position will require design and delivery of innovative person-centred site and community-based activities.

**About You**:
Our ideal **Advanced Practitioner** will have experience working within the disability sector, specifically experience supporting clients with complex and high behavioural support needs. You will be person-centred, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be an effective team player and able to work autonomously. You will also be adaptive and resilient.
- Essential Requirements:_
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability) or equivalent
- First Aid Level II
- Demonstrated experience in supporting people with complex and/or high behaviour support needs
- Demonstrated experience in planning, conducting and reviewing activities designed to increase social and community participation for people with complex and/or high behaviour support needs
- Previous experience in undertaking and coordinating the development and implementation of clients individual and specific health plans
- Achieving individual outcomes for people with a disability
- Demonstrated ability to prepare individualised reports and other written material
- Development of innovative solutions that seek to increase the community and social inclusion of program members
- Must have or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have completed or be willing to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' orientation module
