**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Analytics, this role will provide actional insights and will be key to providing our customers the best possible experience and enable Sportsbet to continue to be a digital leader with a cutting-edge analytics function. The role will deliver small and large projects across the whole of Sportsbet including Responsible Gambling, Customer Operations, Marketing, Product, Media and Risk & Trading and with objective of achieving greater efficiency and better solutions to business problems. An analytical and commercial mindset, attention to detail and ability to engage with relevant stakeholders, will ensure success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensure data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations that will improve decision making and drive business performance.
- Support the business in delivering insights that influences decision makers.
- Manage end-to-end analytical projects and develop in-depth, customer-based insights that help drive decisions.
- Develop new and evolve metrics and tools to provide reports and analysis that leads to actionable strategic insights.
- Communicate and deliver complex analysis and concepts to key stakeholders and the wider business by creating ‘data stories’ to excite the business.

**About You**

We’re looking for an Insights Analyst with commercial acumen that understands the importance of delivering high quality, accurate and insightful reports. If you have experience with business intelligence tools, passionate about data and enjoys working in a fast and agile environment, we would love to speak with you
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
- Experience with business intelligence tools e.g., PowerBI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools and dashboard design techniques.
- Highly developed analytical skills.
- Experience using and manipulating large datasets, with the ability to delivery high-quality, accurate and insightful reports.
- Business and requirements gathering experience.
- Strong communications skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders, including management and leadership team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Mathematics, Financial or Computer / Data Science discipline.
