**About the role**

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess degree qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline, and extensive industry experience within planning and development.

You will have experience in and a demonstrated ability to undertake quality and timely assessment of large scale or complex development proposals. In addition to this, you will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to problem solve and negotiate outcomes. With a high commitment to professional and expeditious service, you will ensure an exceptional customer experience for all Council stakeholders.

**Benefits**

This is a permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week, with a base salary ranging from $115,445.72 - $128,144.64 per year based on demonstrated competencies + private leaseback vehicle + 11.5% p.a superannuation. Additionally,** **Council has a range of benefits including, but not limited to:
