As Strategic Account Manager (Air Freight) APAC for a market leading air freight wholesaler, you will be responsible for growing the client base and sourcing new strategic accounts in this channel. Based in SYD/MEL/BNE, and reporting to the Global Product Manager Express, you will build and maintain solid relationships with existing and potential customers across the region, demonstrating a strong understanding of the needs of the customer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instrumental in sourcing strategic new accounts and responsible for growing the client base across the regions
- Identify the needs of each potential client and create bespoke solutions
- Target current key accounts and develop and grow level of support
- Be pivotal in rolling out new services to market
- Produce rolling sales pipeline, to be reported monthly
- Measure and report sales and marketing successes monthly
- Analysis of the market data and providing strategies for improve performance and growth
- Maintain and develop exceptional customer service

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Self-motivated, disciplined and a proven success in sales
- Good knowledge of Express industry within the region
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proactive and forward thinking, with the ability to keep in step with market changes
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Express industry
- Possess confidence in presenting information to individuals and groups regarding customers, as well as employees
- Strives to understand the customer and their needs and, is able to provide solutions for customers
- Builds trust easily, especially with customers
- High level of customer service and maturity when dealing with customers
- Previous experience of working for an Integrator is highly advantageous
