- Aug 28, 2023Tradewind are we are working with a growing F-9 school in Truganina, seeking a dedicated Math/Science to teach students in years 7-9. A growing school in a growth corridor, in a vibrant and close-knit community. Work with a professional team of dedicated Maths/Science teachers for a full time role with a flexible start in Term 4 or in 2024.
The School
The P-9 College places its learners at the centre of all that is done, located in the growth area of Wyndham officially opened in 2015 with students currently in years Foundation to Year 9. The College caters for the educational and personal needs of each student by providing an environment that inspires learning, provides individualised learning approaches, and promotes positive relationships, security and a sense of belonging within a culture of respect and pride.
The College provides high quality programs ensuring breadth and depth in curriculum areas. The staff review their professional practice and use student learning evidence and data to identify student strengths and target improvement areas in order to personalise learning, engage students and challenge all learners. Specialist curriculum programs include - Science, Technology, Creative Arts, Music, Physical Education and Spanish. Extracurricular programs include but are not limited to, instrumental music, sport and enrichment programs in literacy and numeracy.
We're looking for
- A teaching qualification recognised in Australia
- Registered, or who have the ability to be registered with VIT
- Experience in, and a demonstrated passion for teaching with most current practices
- Primary and or Secondary Art experience preferred but graduates welcome to apply
- A proven ability to develop productive relationships with students, staff and parents
- Excellent organisational, administrative and presentation skills
