Myotherapist

**About the role**

As a **part time** Myotherapist working min 19 hours per week in our **Croydon** clinic, you will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

**In this role you will be...**
- Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
- Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
- Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
- Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
- Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required
- Liaising with healthcare professionals such as GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
- Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress
