**We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on DC Manager with a strong background in logistics & distribution at a senior level**

**About the role**

The DC Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Wacol facility, including managing a team of employees and ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped in a timely manner. You will oversee the receipt, warehousing and distribution of Clipex solutions nationally, to our own retail outlets as well as direct to farm deliveries. Reporting to the Supply Chain & Ops Manager, you will ensure there is effective planning around DIFOT, inbound and outbound accuracy and attainment of warehouse operational KPIs.

You will oversee the activities and outputs of all logistics and warehouse operations related staff and possess excellent communication, leadership skills and strategic thinking. We are seeking a hands on, motivated and enthusiastic leader

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee Warehouse operations & co-ordinate day-to-day administration, including inventory manager & control
- Lead daily control meetings, identifying issues & actions to be taken
- Complete root cause failure analyses & take corrective actions
- Maintain budgetary, scheduling & project database
- Develop & implement processes to improve efficiency & productivity
- Produce accurate, relevant & on-time reports & associated recommendations
- Oversee and mentor the warehouse team, promoting a zero harm culture
- Manage compliance, quality control and quality assurance standards & specifications
- Develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers & customers
- Qualifications in Management, Warehousing, Logistics & Distribution or equivalent
- 5+ years in a similar role preferred
- Confident leading teams with excellent communication skills
- Strong systems skills
- Lean methodology practitioner ideal
- Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including ocean, over-the-road transportation, rail, customs & warehousing) highly regarded
- Highly motivated with a hands-on, enthusiastic approach
