Pakenham, Australia Labourpower Recruitment Services Full time

Our client is a custom producer of plastic Rotational Mouldings based in Pakenham. We are currently seeking multiple production assistants or machine operators to join the team. Successful applicants will work in a variety of positions around the facility assisting with operating rotational moulding machinery, the use of hand and power tools, trimming/testing and quality checking products.

Ideally prior experience with rotational moulding or trades backgrounds would be preferred, however applicants with an extensive past use of hand and power tools along with a mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will also suit the role.

Successful applicants should:

- Have an ability to work unsupervised or with a team
- Be available to work Monday - Friday on an ongoing basis
- Have the drive and energy to learn all aspects of the role
- Have the ability to use hand and power tools
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Show good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Have a flexible nature & positive attitude
- Have an ability to read, comprehend and follow work instructions
- Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Show the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or table form.
- Have previous Rotomould or plastics manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
- Hold a valid LF forklift license - preferred but not essential
- Show an interest in and capacity to learn the Moulding Specialist (next promotion level) role over time
