Coffee Roaster/dispatch

Clark St Coffee is seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Coffee Roaster and Dispatch Assistant to join our dedicated team in Cheltenham, Victoria:

**Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Roasting**: Execute precise and consistent roasting processes to bring out the best flavours and qualities in our coffees.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the roasting process.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage inventory levels effectively to meet production demands while minimizing waste.
- **Dispatch Coordination**:Coordinate the dispatch of coffee orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery to wholesale and retail customers.
- **Environmental Sustainability**:Contribute to our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact, particularly in coffee packaging and waste management.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with our sourcing team to select and procure exceptional coffees that align with our sustainability goals.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually improve roasting processes, product quality, and dispatch operations.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:Ideal minimum of 2 years of experience in coffee roasting and dispatch, with a strong understanding of roasting principles and logistics.
- **Passion**:A genuine passion for coffee, sustainability, and supporting coffee farmers.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards in both roasting and dispatch processes.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- **Adaptability**:Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands, operational needs, and dispatch schedules.
- **Certifications**:Preferred certifications in coffee roasting or related fields (e.g., Q Grader, Roaster Masterclass) and logistics or dispatch coordination.
- **Current Driver's licence**
