Bentley, Australia Aerison Pty Ltd Full time

Aerison Pty Ltd is looking for Fitters around Western Australia for different locations in Perth, metro and regionally.

DUTIES:

- Read drawings, work orders and schedule to determine job instructions and specifications
- Examine and measure work for defects to ensure conformance with specifications

Assist in the installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair of fixed plant and equipment associated with the processes of mining and industry
- Small bore piping installation
- Installation and maintenance of control fans, pumps, motor drive and gear boxes
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify appropriate Supervisors
- Carry out reasonable instructions given by Aerison Site Supervisors

WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY:

- Ensure your actions / or inactions does not place you or other persons at risk of injury or illness.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all hazards, near misses, incidents and injury / illness to your immediate supervisor /Aerison contact.
- Take action to avoid, eliminate or minimise hazards.
- Undertake the appropriate safety orientation, induction or training provided to you.
- Comply with all Aerison occupational health and safety procedures, as well as local guidelines / rules developed toimplement OHS procedures.
- Seek information or advice where necessary before carrying out new or unfamiliar work.
- Maintain dress standards appropriate for the work activity and wear the appropriate protective clothing andfootwear required at all times.
- Make yourself familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures in areas you access including the location ofemergency equipment.
- Comply with the instructions given by emergency response personnel such as emergency wardens and firstaiders.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Trade qualifications in Maintenance Fitting/ Fitter Turner
- Experience working on a mine site
- Experience working with fixed plant equipment
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude
- White Card
- Work Safely at Heights
- Mining industry experience
- Confined Space

Position - Full Time

Salary : $38 per hour + penalities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bentley, WA 6102: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
