Our opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and energetic HSE Advisor with a high level of hands on experience to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This role is critical to the delivery of a key Telecommunications infrastructure project across Metropolitan Adelaide and Regional parts of South Australia. This role will work closely with our internal partners, project teams and the broader community, including residents, businesses and local government.

In this role, you will be responsible for- Assisting with implementation of Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and programs- Providing health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support- Undertaking risk assessments of complex tasks- Developing and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries- Supporting managers and supervision in activities towards a positive health and safety culture- Coordinating and manage audit programs- Establishing and implementation of procedures for safety/risk management and emergencies- Conducting investigations into workplace incidents- Implementing and monitor our field assurance program.

How you’ll connect to the role

Ideally, you will have experience in the telecommunications, construction or utilities sectors, and will have;- Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety- Demonstrated HSE experience working on civil construction projects- ICAM lead investigator or similar- Current First Aid certificate- Ability to function unsupervised, working to tight deadlines- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation- Have a strong commitment to our Living Safely culture-
