**Figtree Veterinary Clinic** is looking for a dedicated part time Receptionist to join our wonderful and supportive team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a client forward position, loves working with animals, and is committed to providing exceptional service.

**About you**:

- Highly skilled in customer service with effective time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Passionate about providing gold standard customer service to our clients.
- Empathy and compassion towards both clients and their pets.
- Ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently.
- Understand Word/Excel/Outlook and PIMS RxWorks experience is beneficial.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Experience or exposure in the veterinary industry is desirable but not essential if you have transferrable skills
- training will be provided.
- Prior receptionist-related and administrative experience is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling consultations and surgical bookings, as well as organising the relevant documentation.
- Welcoming in clients for their appointments & coordinating patient admissions to hospital.
- Effective communication with Veterinarians and Veterinary Nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assisting with stock management.
- Providing clients with parasiticide & dietary product advice.
- Basic phone triage (as per veterinary staff advice & training).
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
- General administrative tasks.

Closed Saturday & Sunday and Public Holidays
