**Store Person - Depot Logistics**

**Permanent Full Time Opportunity**

**Salary $62,657.40 - $72,683.00 plus 11% Superannuation**

Work as part of a multi skilled team to support the delivery of revenue related services for Wingecarribee Shire Council, located in the beautiful Southern Highlands. Council is working to build a bright future - be part of our journey.

**About the Role**

The position is responsible for the purchase of goods and materials, manage store stock and to organise the maintenance of the depot yard in accordance with Council’s adopted policies and procedures.

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate II, III or IV in Warehousing operations or similar.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of warehousing, managing stores and materials and purchasing functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and members of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Work Health & Safety legislation and responsibilities.
- Valid Construction General Induction card - NSW WorkCover or equivalent OR willingness to obtain.
- Competency in operations of a frontend loader.
- Current Class C driver’s licence.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge of available local and state government contracts for the procurement of goods and services;
- Knowledge of procurement systems in Local Government;
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing policies and principles in relation to procurement and storekeeping;
- Licence to operate a forklift.
