**The Company**
Our client is a large supplier with a strong network across Australia and New Zealand providing to all major retailers in their industry. They are continuing to transform and improve their supply chain whilst growing their sales revenue across all product categories. This role is looking for a Demand Planner with a solid understanding of SF&OP to join the business and improve the planning function.
**The Role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their high performing planning team. Managing a fast paced category with varying lead times and competing customer demands. The responsibilities for this role are;
- Take ownership of the SF&OP processes for the ANZ business.
- Develop, update and maintain demand and sales forecasts by collaboratively working with key customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the companies SF&OP and forecasting with key customers.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the business offering support and reporting’s.
- Review historical sales data, trends, demand drivers and customer analysis to develop statistical forecasts.
- Effectively use forecasting software to assist in long term forecasting. Ensure all forecasting is done through the primary tools efficiently.
- Validate and review customer data for forecasting and business intelligence purposes.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional review of forecasts to discuss any reconciles.
- Proactively provide input to Supply Chains, Sales, Finance and other teams to optimise operations and inventory. Also, adhere to any adhoc tasks that this relates to.
**Your Background**
- 2-3 Years experience in demand planning, supply chain or another analytical role.
- Experienced using Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP system.
- Understanding of using Power Bi or other business intelligence tool is preferable.
- Willingness and ability to take ownership of the companies demand planning function.
- Resilience and ability to effectively work on adhoc tasks autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure and set clear goals/objectives and plans to achieve them.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good work ethic and attitude to achieve.
- Great Microsoft Excel skills.
