**The Role**
ALS is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our metallurgical services business based at our Iron Ore Technical Centre (IOTC) in the suburb of Wangara, Perth, Western Australia. Successful applicants will become part of its busy metallurgical testing laboratories that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results and by maintaining strong relationships with its clients.

This is a casual role but working full time shift work hours based on projects. These are not FIFO mine site positions.

Training will be provided for all duties.

Typical duties include:

- Handling and preparation of Iron ore samples (inventorying, crushing, blending, and pulverising)
- Grinding, size analysis, filtering, drying and sample submissions
- Iron ore related testing (drop tower, bulk density, jigging and magnetic separation)

**The day to day**
- Good numerical, communication, organisational and time management skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake shift work if required.
- Be detail oriented, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- Demonstrated judgement, creativity, integrity, and ability to problem solve
- A high regard for personal safety and the safety of others
