building contractors in the Construction, Engineering & Infrastructure sectors, with a variety

of plant and equipment, especially modern Tower Cranes & Hoists.

As a result of rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced, confident, and capable crane

service technician to work on our fleet of electric tower cranes and hoists for our Altona

North facility based in Melbourne, VIC.

in all aspects of a Tower Crane pre-delivery, critical works, climbs, scheduled monthly

servicing, repair and the recovery of tower cranes. In addition, assisting with the pre
- delivery of our Alimak hoist division.
- A qualified electrician interested in working on Tower Cranes and hoists may also be

considered.

The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager for the

following tasks:

- Daily maintenance & execution of high-end pre-deliveries of electric tower cranes and

hoists at our Altona North facility.
- Installation & commissioning of a tower cranes.
- Routine monthly service & maintenance of a tower cranes.
- Be actively involved in Tower Crane climbs.
- Complete clear & legible service reports.
- Attend Call-Out requests for repair work.
- Recovery of tower cranes.
- Assist in diagnosing and problem solving for the best outcomes.
- Liaise with a variety of end users, construction managers & OEM’s in a professional &
courteous manner.
- Maintain & enforce a high level of housekeeping in the workshop & when onsite.
- Be open to ongoing training.
- Be open to the pre-delivery & maintenance of assorted fixed & mobile plants.
- Meet the Murrina Group & their clients’ expectations & deadlines.
- Familiarize and maintain the highest level of safety standards in the workplace.
- Maintain & work within Australian standards for both cranes and hoists.

**Skills & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Trade qualified electrician
- Current Drivers license
- White Card - Construction Induction
- Work at heights.
- License to perform High Risk Work
- Occupational health and safety training.
- Show the ability to diagnose electrical faults and read electrical drawings.
- Be flexible to ongoing changes & requirements as the business grows to takes on new

challenges.
- Ad hoc over time hours may be required.
- Rights to work in Australia

**Preferred**:

- Forklift license
- Previous electric Tower Crane experience.
- Rigger
- Non slewing crane license
- Show the ability to diagnose hydraulic faults and read schematics.
