**About the Role**
- Full time Permanent Position
- Classification: Nurses Award 2020 Level 2 or Health Professional Support Services Award Level 2 with a salary range of $83,584- $93,524 per annum + Superannuation
- Location: Latrobe Valley - Morwell, VIC

**Overview of the position**

As an Allied Health Professional, the Mental Health Clinician will draw on their discipline skills, engage with the consumers (consumers), other clinicians, the consumer's treatment team, Neami Lived Experience staff and family/friends/carers to provide high quality assessments and interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes for consumers accessing The Mental Health & Wellbeing Local Service. The Mental Health Clinician will have a strong emphasis on preparing the consumer to transition home. This work will focus on clinical assessment and collaborative care planning.

Hours of work for this position are as per a rotating roster. Currently, the MH&WL Service operates Monday to Saturday, as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 8pm

Saturday and Public Holidays: 12pm - 8pm

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Formal tertiary qualification in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
- Accredited full registration with a professional governing body such as AHPRA, ACA, AASW
- Proven experience at a clinical level within the area of mental health service delivery
- Experience working as a member of a multi
- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation
- Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
