**About the role**

The Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for assisting with the provision of activities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care, which enhances the psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being of residents and clients. Join our fun, family friendly team and be supported by passionate and caring leaders wanting to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

In this role you will:

- Assist with development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities;
- Support residents to participate in activities; attend to the personal care needs of clients/residents as required;
- Assist with the regular review and improvement of activities;
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities including evaluation of individual resident programs and plans.

**About you**

You are a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on innovation when it comes to enriching the lives of the elderly. Whether it be a concert at the facility or a day out on the bus, your main goals are to motivate, inspire and involve the residents. You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. You have a fun-loving nature along with compassion and understanding of individual needs.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- First Aid certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate;
- Good communication skills with the elderly and team members;
- Similar work experience in an aged care setting;
- National Police and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to acquire.
