**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TAFE NSW is seeking a permanent full time Technical Assistant (Automotive) to work in the Automotive teaching section (Autobody Repair and Refinish).??The role is responsible for providing support in the preparation of materials and equipment to support educational delivery.? In the role, you will ensure the ongoing care and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds with the teaching section.?

The role involves offering support to the teaching staff in the delivery of assessment and training of practical tasks.? As well as maintaining the tools and equipment utilised by the teaching section in accordance with Work, Health, and Safety requirements.?

**ABOUT YOU**

To succeed in the role, you must have demonstrated skills and current experience in the automotive industry.? ?

To be successful in this role you:
1. Have over three (3) years proven experience working within the automotive environment, or related work areas, and have knowledge of tools and equipment.

2. Can demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

3. Hold Certificate III or higher in Automotive Mechanical, beneficial however not essential.
