Radio Technician

Due to extensive growth our client is pursuing dedicated team members with experience in installing and maintaining radio and telecommunications equipment on various hardware. They are an industry leading company looking to fill a position within their support team in Newcastle.

**About the role**:
You will be required to install, maintain, program, and provide technical support for a variety of communications equipment and infrastructure. The successful applicant will have an ability to be self-managed, resourceful, and persistent. As well as have drive, determination, and a logical approach to ensure servicing is conducted in an efficient and safe manner.

Duties include:

- Designing, installing, programming, configurating and repairing of radio equipment.
- Working with conventional and trunked 2 way radio systems
- Experience with above mentioned duties
- Trade qualifications as an electronics technician, radio technician, automotive electrician or equivalent
- Previous industry experience preferably in both workshop and field maintenance roles
- Experience with major brands including Motorola & Kenwood
- Experience with digital technologies include DMR, P25, Tetra, NXDN as well as conventional analogue
