As a Pipe Fitter at BRE Engineering, your life will be a pipeful of fun (pun intended). Your daily escapades will include:

- Fabricating piping systems.
- Embracing your inner Sherlock Holmes as you decipher isometric and P&ID drawings.
- Being a safety superstar while maintaining a friendly competition for the title of "Safety Guru" (the cape is optional but highly encouraged).
- Playing well with others, like a toddler in a sandbox, as you work as part of a team or independently when the mood strikes.
- Putting your fitting skills to the test by installing pressure and drainage piping systems.
- Collaborating with welders and mechanical fitters like a synchronised swimming team (but with more sparks and less water).
- Showcasing your tube bending and swaging skills.
- Executing designs with the finesse of a master chef, except your ingredients are hydraulic crimping tools and your creations are piping systems.

Requirements for the Role: We're looking for a pipe enthusiast who can bring the party to our pipes. Here's what you'll need to join the fun:

- A trade qualification (preferred) because we want someone who knows their way around pipes like a dolphin in the ocean.
- Experience with various materials like Stainless, Duplex, Carbon, and Copper Nickel.
- The ability to read Isometric pipe drawings with confidence.
- Welding experience in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
- GTAW TIG, FCAW GMAW MMAW capability is highly desirable.
- Experience in Fabrication for various materials and methods.
- A knack for completing induction processes and clearance checks.
- Previous experience in Naval Ship Repairs/Marine or Defence is highly desirable.
- The ability to pass pre-employment medical and fitness tests, as well as a Drug & Alcohol screen (we can't have you performing magic while under the influence).
- Familiarity with general piping fabrication concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong record-keeping skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills (because time flies when you're fitting pipes).
- The ability to use your own initiative and self-manage project deliverables (because you're the captain of your own pipefitting shipon a ship).
- A talent for maintaining a clean and well-organised workshop.
- A commitment to working to high standards while maintaining productivity.

Competencies Required:

- Certificate III in Engineering or similar experience (Fabrication Trade).
- A WHS white card is desirable.
- Confined Space certification is desirable.
- High Risk License for EWP, Rigging, Forklift is desirable.
