**About the team**:

**About the role**:
As our new Livestock Buyer, you will be part of the wider Commercial portfolio. In this role you will facilitate the procurement of livestock to support Coles integrated meat model. You will be responsible for delivering volume, on time and at required specification and price.

You will collaborate with a variety of livestock suppliers and build and maintain close partnerships across varying livestock categories.

You will also:

- Develop livestock programs and align with sales demand and customer requirements
- Understand the demand, pricing targes and production requirements across all livestock types
- Deliver against supply, specifications and price targets through effective purchasing execution
- Manage the procurement and relationship management of existing and new livestock suppliers across varying livestock categories.

**About you and your skills**:
As part of the wider Coles Commercial Meat portfolio, you will be a pivotal member of the team. Through effective partnering and support across the meat produce business this is a great opportunity to bring your proven skills into this exciting role

You’ll also need:

- Proven experience working in the livestock supply chain.
- Developed relationships management skills.
- Ability to interpret and analysis data and reporting capabilities.
- Previous project planning and deliver experience.
- Prioritisation and organisation skills required to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a current driver’s license.
