**Responsibilities include**:
**The aim of this role is to**:

- Develop, manage and monitor the QBCC's Governance Framework, and related policies and procedures, to ensure the Board and management fulfil their statutory obligations for the proper, effective and efficient governance of the QBCC.
- Be a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner on corporate governance matters for the Board, Board advisory committees and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the Board and Committees Secretariat, including the direct support for staff undertaking these roles, to ensure deadlines are planned for, resources are allocated, and outcomes are advanced.
- Manage and track progress on high priority initiatives, identify any/potential obstacles and provide solutions through a governance lens.
- Facilitate the preparation of briefings, submissions, Board and Senior Leadership Team papers and other complex and sensitive documents to assist the CIRO in addressing issues affecting the QBC Board, QBCC and the Division.
- Ensure accurate and timely provision of information and reports as required.
- Implement initiatives to lift performance and outcomes.
- Manage and support key stakeholder relationships.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as directed
