**Hey You**:
We are looking for a passionate, people-person to join genU as a **Social Group Program Assistant**** **This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to enhance the quality of life of clients by providing person-centred support and care through group base activities.

You will be part of a program named Do Care, which is a genU program aimed at helping socially isolated seniors access their community. The program is outing based and successful applicants will be required to transport and attend activities with clients, supporting our clients with providing them quality opportunities people to socialise and to engage with their wider community.

Duties will include:

- Facilitate activities in accordance to the Leisure & Lifestyle Program;
- Provide support and assistance to clients to participate in group based activities and outings of their choice.
- Provision of support and assistance to the client in accordance with their individual care plans to achieve their goals.
- Transportation of clients driving in a 12-seater vehicle (car licence only required).

This is a casual position based in Ocean Grove, VIC.

**About You?**:
To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you hold:

- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent;
- Current drivers license;
- Must have or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- Must have or be willing to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You';
- All applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Procedure. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process.
