Restoration Plasterer

Key Responsibilities:

- Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers
- Covers joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothes them using wet brushes and sand paper
- Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
- Plumbs and straightens corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
- Creates decorative textures in finishing coats
- Train junior colleagues by demonstration and sharing know-how.
- Reporting and assessing on water damages claims internally.

Key Selection Criteria:

- At least 2 years work experience as Plasterer or similar role.
- A certificate in Plastering is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using machinery and hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: Up to $74,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
