Greengrocer - Fruit and Vegetable Assistants

We are seeking Green Grocers and fruit and vegetable assistants to join our team in Ashburton.

If you're a foodie come and join our small and dedicated team and share your passion and love for all-things food with our fabulous customers

You'll be responsible for stocking and maintaining the fruit and vegetable section of our Mediterranean green grocer store.

Top Shelf Fruits & Fine Foods is a third generation family run green grocer, based in Ashburton, in Melbourne’s East.

For those that haven’t been in our store, we are best known for top quality fruit & vegetables and superb grocery.

For those who know us a little better and have been shopping with us for years, we are known for our relentless desire to exceed customer expectations.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for passionate team players to join our fresh produce team.

It is a permanent role, of 30-40 hours plus a week, that involves early starts, 4:30 / 5am and some weekend work.

There’s also some heavy lifting involved,

**DUTIES**

Fill fruit & vegetable displays on arrival

Help unload morning delivery from the market

Keep fruit & vegetable displays stocked

Carry customers groceries to their car

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

Retail Fresh Produce Experience In Similar Role

Current VIC Driver’s Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.77 - $41.14 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- green grocer or fresh produce assistant: 1 year (required)
